China’s “herb of immortality” has been used as a medicinal and energizing tea for centuries in Asia.
Japanese researchers originally studied it as a sugar substitute for its sweet taste and found it is a powerful adaptogenic, antioxidant herb with properties and chemical compounds similar, possibly superior to ginseng.
It promotes normal blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol; strengthens the immune system; and supports athletic performance with enhanced blood oxygen levels and better mental focus.
New studies suggest it may stimulate Telomerase, implicated in DNA protection and reducing cellular senescense or the ability to divide and grow.
It contains a variety of saponins, plant chemicals with a structure similar to human steroid hormones. Jiaogulan is an adaptogenic herb such as e.g. Ashwagandha, Ginseng. Jiaogulan helps the body to resist acute stress form.
Other positive effects are:
Neutralizing free radicals (prevent to stress), Support for the immune system (prevent to stress), Normalizes blood pressure (prevent to stress)
Lowers blood cholesterol (LDL), immune system support (stress prevention).
